These Fillet knives are some of the Finest made blades available for small to medium sized fish. They feature razor sharp Nitro V stainless Steel and Micarta made in Idaho by hand. This Micarta has metal flakes casted inside of the scales giving it a beautiful shine which represents the fish the scales are modeled after. The Micarta is super high end and won't absorb water or odors if washed properly. The grip of Micarta is one of the most superior choices when it comes to a filler knife. They have a Low Flex which will help rip through bones and Rib Cages. This steel stays sharp for a long time but will touch up very easily. Like all Anglers Edge Collabs, these are tested and designed to last for years to come. The Rockwell Hardness of Nitro V is 62-64 and the Steel is 0.0935” Thick. Every angler should have one of these in their knife arsenal! Remember never put any high end knife in the dishwasher, always wipe dry before storing them and try to hone your knife before resharpening it.
