Introducing the RAINBOWIE Protoype. A classic design themed after one of our Favorite fish, oncorhynchus mykiss AKA The Rainbow Trout.
We only have 2 of these beautiful Babies available. Its first come first serve. These are very unique and we will never offer these again with the same handle scales and sheath. We are offering these for nearly the production costs just to get some feedback and to make sure they were made to our exact design. The good news is that they came out exactly like we wanted! Now we just want to make sure you all like them.
The price is $140 for 1 or $225 for 2. These make a timeless gift for anyone of your friends or family who share the the passion for the outdoors. You can also add a set of our new split shot pliers for only $20.
The Rainbowie takes on many characteristics of the fish that has turned so many casual Fishermen into passionate die-hard anglers. The Rainbow Trout takes on many forms, shapes and colors. They are a true chameleon of the rivers. Evolution has built these fish to reproduce and survive the Elements. This tool embodies many of these same features.
The 4.5" Blade is Handmade using German 440c tempered to 60 RH. Its a super versatile size for many of the tasks you will face while hiking, fishing or hunting. The overall Length is 9.062" but it carries and feels like a much smaller tool. The trailing point reminds us of the hooked jaw of a Buck Steelhead ready for spawning. The blade has a beautiful bright polished satin finish like a chrome steelhead stalking the oceans. It has tight cozy Jimping for extra thumb pressure while pushing. There is also a finger cup on the spine which will help you choke up and do fine detail gouging or slicing with the tip like cutting veggies or strips or meat. This blade is razor razor sharp. The handle is ultra comfy!!  It's Thin, only 0.55" but very balanced due to the steel Butt cap and bolster. The bolster also offers hand protection while performing heavy tasks. The Micarta scales give the  perfect amount of grip making sure your cuts are strong and true. The blade is etched with Trevor Hawkins beautiful"Egg Wagon" Rainbow Trout.
The sheath is hand made genuine leather and has a belt hanger. One of the sheaths is missing the belt hanger so I offer the knife for a few dollars less..
